Professional Experience:
Trained in the United States, Michelle is a clinical psychologist with 10 years of experience working in both the U.S. and Singapore. Through her work in various public and private mental health settings, she has supported people through many areas of concerns, from mood issues, relationship issues to trauma and psychosis. While Michelle is experienced in addressing a wide array of challenges, she finds her work with anxiety, phobias, and OCD to be especially rewarding.
 
Therapeutic Approach:
Michelle allows compassion, encouragement, and evidence-based treatments to drive her approach to therapy. While she ensures that each client gets an individualized treatment plan, she makes use of evidence-based modalities like CBT, ACT, EFT, and gradual exposure therapy. She is committed to creating a non-judgmental space where clients feel at ease to freely express themselves, then providing the right support to empower clients to develop adaptive skills for greater resilience.
 
Personal Information:
Having moved across countries and continents several times in life, Michelle has developed a cultural lens that is able to grasp various perspectives and factors that form them. Following suit, her gastronomic palate has grown in appreciation for diverse cuisines of the world. Aside from good food, Michelle is an avid animal lover who also enjoys learning languages in her spare time.
